55th Reunion of
Hoover High School Class of 1961
It is hard to believe that it has been 55 years since we graduated from Hoover High School. That doesn’t mean we are getting old, does it? No matter. . . we are young in spirit and eager to reconnect with as many classmates as possible from the wonderful class of 1961. A group of us started getting together for bi-monthly potluck lunches several years ago and recently our conversation turned to thoughts about our next reunion. The more we talked about it the more we became obsessed with it until we realized that we had become the start of a reunion committee. We agreed that we want our 55th reunion to be the most fun, have the most classmates, and be at the most interesting location possible. In other words, we want it to be the best ever. For that to happen, we have chosen an iconic location that represents much of the history and economic growth of beautiful San Diego. For our reunion to be a success, though, the most important component is you, our classmates, along with spouses and significant others. We need you to be part of this celebration. . . to share memories, to renew friendships, and to have fun. Help us make it an unforgettable event.
